Acute bronchitis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the bronchial tubes, primarily accompanied by cough, phlegm, and discomfort in the chest. This condition is mostly caused by viral infections, but can also occur due to bacterial infections. Appropriate treatment is essential to alleviate symptoms and reduce inflammation. This medication is used to relieve the symptoms of acute bronchitis and improve respiratory health.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet at a time, 3 times a day, taken with a small amount of water.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women. Individuals with a tendency to bleed easily or those taking anticoagulant medications should not take this medication. It is advisable not to administer this medication to patients with severe liver or kidney impairment. Patients who have experienced allergic reactions to any components of this medication should not take it. Patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should not take this medication. Children under 12 years of age should also not take this medication. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occasionally occur during use. Rarely, bleeding symptoms such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may appear. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, hives, or itching may occur rarely. Very rarely, severe allergic reactions, characterized by facial swelling or difficulty breathing, may occur, requiring caution. Abnormal liver function may occur; if symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, abdominal pain, or loss of appetite appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. If symptoms do not improve within one week after taking the medication or if symptoms such as fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-tinged phlegm persist, stop taking the medication and visit a hospital. It is advisable not to take this medication while lying down. While there are no reported interactions with other medications, caution should be exercised if taking anticoagulants, as this medication may affect blood coagulation. It is preferable for pregnant or breastfeeding women not to take this medication. Side effects may worsen in case of overdose, so do not exceed the specified dosage, and if an overdose occurs, consult a doctor immediately. Keep this medicine out of reach of children, and avoid transferring it to another container, as it may not maintain quality.
