This medication is used topically as a local anesthetic in the ENT field when the oral and pharyngeal mucosa are irritated or inflamed. It is also used in dentistry to suppress the gag reflex during X-ray imaging or dental impressions. How to use

Adult use

The recommended maximum single dose for healthy adults is 4.5 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride per kg of body weight, and the total dosage should not exceed 300 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride (15 mL of this medication). As symptomatic therapy for irritation or inflammation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa, administer 300 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride (15 mL of this medication). Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to amide local anesthetics. Skin reactions such as urticaria, edema, and allergic reactions may occur; any abnormal symptoms should be reported immediately. It is safe to prepare first aid measures in case of emergencies when using local anesthetics. To reduce side effects, carefully observe the patient's condition and use only the necessary minimal amount. When using this medication in the oral cavity, there is a risk of food entering the airway due to decreased swallowing ability, so it is advisable to avoid food intake for 60 minutes after use. There is a risk of injuring the mouth due to numbness of the tongue or oral mucosa; caution is required.
