Candesartan Cilexetil helps control blood pressure and is used in patients with essential hypertension and heart failure with left ventricular systolic dysfunction. Therefore, this medication is used to simultaneously improve hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and the risk of cardiovascular disease.

If blood pressure is not adequately controlled, the dose may be increased to a maximum of 32 mg once daily. Heart failure: initial dose of 4 mg once daily, increased by doubling the dose at intervals of 2 weeks or more, with a maximum of 32 mg once daily. Rosuvastatin: initial dose of 5 mg once daily.
