Relief of cough and phlegm
Cough and phlegm are symptoms related to respiratory health; this medication is used to relieve cough and assist in the expulsion of phlegm to make breathing more comfortable.
Aged 15 years and older, 1 dose of 20 mL (4 pouches) Take 5-6 times a day, at approximately 4-hour intervals.
Aged 11 years and older - under 15 years, 1 dose of 13 mL (2 and 2/3 pouches) Aged 8 years and older - under 11 years, 1 dose of 10 mL (2 pouches) Aged 5 years and older - under 8 years, 1 dose of 6.5 mL
This medication should not be administered to infants under 3 months old. Persons with allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients, or those with a history of such reactions, should avoid using this product. Additionally, individuals currently taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics known as MAO inhibitors, or who have stopped taking them less than two weeks ago, should not take this medication. During the use of this medication, do not take other cough or phlegm medications, cold medicines, antihistamines, or sedatives concurrently. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions such as fever, rash, joint pain, or itching due to medications, and those with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid disorders or diabetes, hypertension, elderly individuals, frail persons, or those with high fever should also consult a healthcare professional. This applies also to women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and nursing mothers. Consultation is also necessary for smokers or individuals with respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or if experiencing a cough that persists longer than one week, accompanied by fever, rash, or headache. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, anxiety, trembling, or insomnia occur during medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, consult a physician. In general, this medication should not be given to children under 2 years of age; however, if absolutely necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. The prescribed dosage and administration should be strictly followed, and when administering to children, guardians must guide and supervise them. Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Hives
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should not be taken in conjunction with MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, antiparkinsonian agents, etc.). Do not take with other cough suppressants or expectorants, cold medications, or oral antihistamines (oral remedies for rhinitis, motion sickness medications, allergy medications). Also, do not take with sedatives.
This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to protect it from air and moisture and should be kept at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. Storing in this manner will maintain the medicine's efficacy and safety.
