This medicine is used to effectively manage the blood pressure of patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of telmisartan or amlodipine.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is one tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). For patients with renal impairment: No dose adjustment is necessary for mild to moderate renal impairment; however, patients with severe renal impairment should start treatment at a lower dose and gradually increase. For patients with liver impairment: The daily dose of telmisartan for patients with mild or moderate liver impairment

Child dose

Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, so the use of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, especially during the second and third trimesters, as it can cause serious harm to the fetus. Patients with allergies to this drug or certain liver disorders, heart issues, hypotension, kidney problems, etc., should avoid taking this medication.
