Improvement of endogenous (Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane disease) and exogenous epithelial disorders of the cornea
This medication is used to treat epithelial disorders of the cornea caused by endogenous conditions such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane disease (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), and dry eye syndrome, as well as epithelial disorders that occur after surgery, adverse effects of medications, trauma, or due to contact lens use.
Instill 1 drop 5 to 6 times a day as needed. Adjust dosage appropriately according to symptoms.
This medication is an eye drop solution containing sodium hyaluronate as the main ingredient, used to relieve dryness and irritation of the eyes. This medication should not be used by patients with allergies to any of the components or protein-based drugs. During use, symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, corneal disturbances, or foreign body sensation may occur; if these symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Occasionally, eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may also occur; if such symptoms appear, stop using the medication and seek appropriate treatment. Caution is needed as adverse reactions may occur more frequently when used in conjunction with other eye-related medications, including steroid drugs, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract medications, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics. This product contains phosphates, which may very rarely cause corneal calcification in patients with severe corneal damage, so consultation with a physician is necessary before use in such patients. Do not use this medication simultaneously with other eye drops; if it must be used together with another eye drop, administer this product at least 30 minutes after the other eye drop. This medication is intended for use only in the eyes and care should be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eyelids or eyelashes, as this may result in contamination of the medication. For single-use products, discard the first 1-2 drops when first used, and do not reuse any remaining solution after opening but dispose of it immediately. Avoid sharing and keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. It is important not to transfer to other containers to maintain quality.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture, ideally in a cool place between 1 to 25 degrees Celsius. Avoid direct sunlight and do not store in excessively hot or cold locations.
