Precautions

This drug contains Dobeisic Acid Calcium Hydrate as its main ingredient. It should not be used in certain patients. For example, people with allergies to this drug or its components should not take it. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also avoid this medication. Additionally, since it contains lactose, it may pose risks for patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders. This medication should be used cautiously in patients with impaired kidney function. Since the kidneys play a role in excreting the drug, dosage adjustments may be necessary for patients with renal failure. Special caution is needed for patients with severe renal failure who require dialysis. Patients with compromised liver function should also use this medication with caution, and treatment should be reevaluated if liver enzymes increase significantly. This drug contains sodium bisulfite, which may cause allergic reactions or asthma attacks in sensitive individuals. Asthma patients may experience these reactions more frequently, so caution is required. During the course of this medication, digestive symptoms such as headaches, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting may commonly occur. Furthermore, symptoms such as joint pain, muscle pain, and abnormal liver function have also been reported. If skin rashes, itching, fever, chills, or lethargy occur, medical advice should be sought immediately. Discontinuation of the drug is warranted, especially in the presence of skin reactions or changes in blood counts. This medication can rarely cause a serious blood disorder known as agranulocytosis. In such cases, symptoms like high fever and signs of infection may appear, so it is crucial to inform healthcare providers at the slightest indication of infection. Blood tests should be performed to assess the condition and discontinuation of the medication may be warranted if necessary. If hypersensitivity reactions occur, discontinue the medication immediately and contact a healthcare facility. Attention should be paid due to the potential for severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis.
