This medicine is suitable for patients who use both active ingredients, pimasartan and rosuvastatin. Pimasartan is used to treat essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct when hyperlipidemic conditions such as primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed hyperlipidemia, as well as dysbetalipoproteinemia, are not sufficiently controlled by diet. Additionally, rosuvastatin helps lower cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia, slowing the progression of atherosclerosis and reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It has a positive effect on reducing the need for stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular revascularization procedures in the elderly and those with various risk factors. Therefore, this medicine is used to manage hypertension and hyperlipidemia simultaneously to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
