  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice)

Mild side effects

  • Hives, itching (pruritic) rash, rash, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fixed drug eruption, elevated AST, elevated ALT
  • Hypersensitivity symptoms (facial swelling, sweating, hypotension), thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia, platelet function impairment (prolonged bleeding time), cyanosis, metabolic acidosis with high anion gap, chronic hepatic necrosis, acute pancreatitis, chronic hepatitis, nephrotoxicity, necrosis of liver, kidney, and myocardium

Drug interactions
