Additionally, it is effective for systemic symptoms like chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. Therefore, it is used to generally relieve various uncomfortable symptoms caused by colds.
Dosage and Administration
Adult dosage
For adults, take 1 capsule orally 30 minutes after meals, three times a day.
Precautions
This medication can put strain on the liver; therefore, anyone who regularly consumes more than three alcoholic beverages per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. One of the ingredients, acetaminophen, can rarely cause serious skin allergic reactions, so if a rash or hypersensitivity reaction occurs, you must stop taking the medication immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000 mg, and this medication should not be taken simultaneously with other medications containing acetaminophen. Additionally, since it contains pseudoephedrine, if symptoms such as fever, skin rash, or small blisters occur, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
