Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication or other antipyretic analgesics. This medication contains acetaminophen, which can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if a skin rash or hypersensitivity reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. Care should be taken to not exceed the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen, which should be no more than 4,000mg, and it should not be taken together with other products containing acetaminophen. Since it contains pseudoephedrine, if symptoms such as fever, rash, or small blisters occur, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Individuals with a history of allergies to this medication or its components, or who have experienced asthma, should not take it, nor should infants under 3 months of age, those taking certain antidepressants, or those with uncontrolled hypertension. It is safer not to take this medication together with other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Especially children who have had or are suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, those with allergies or with liver, kidney, or heart diseases should consult a specialist before taking. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur during usage, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional, as serious cases may lead to shock or severe skin conditions and require urgent action. Do not administer to children under 2 years of age, and if necessary, medical consultation is required. Take according to the prescribed method and dosage, avoid prolonged intake, and refrain from alcohol during usage. Also, caution should be exercised regarding driving or operating machinery as drowsiness may occur, and the breakdown of acetaminophen may be delayed when taken with certain medications or alcohol.
