Precautions

This medicine may put a strain on the liver; therefore, individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The acetaminophen ingredient in this medicine can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if any rash or allergic reaction symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000 mg, and this medicine should not be taken concurrently with other acetaminophen-containing products. If symptoms such as fever, skin rash, or blisters appear while taking this medicine containing pseudoephedrine, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Individuals who are allergic to this medicine or its ingredients, have a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, or those with severe hypertension or serious kidney diseases should not use it. During use, avoid taking any cough medications, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines, and consult a professional if using such drugs. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic tendencies or past drug allergic reactions, and those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If symptoms such as rash, vomiting, urinary issues, severe hives, difficulty breathing, or jaundice appear during use, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. Children under 2 years old should not use this medicine unless in special cases, and when needed, a doctor's consultation is mandatory. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and do not use it for extended periods, avoiding alcohol during use. Drowsiness may occur during use, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Caution should be exercised when taking this medicine together with certain antidepressants or barbiturates as it may delay the metabolism of acetaminophen. Taking this medicine in conjunction with certain antibiotics (e.g., flucloxacillin) may rarely lead to severe metabolic acidosis; in such cases, if symptoms appear, discontinue use.
