This medication is used to relieve cough and phlegm symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years and older: Take 1 capsule 30 minutes after a meal, 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by newborns under 3 months of age or by individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients. Additionally, individuals currently taking or having recently stopped taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics within the last 2 weeks should not take this medication. It is important not to take other cough medicines, cold medications, allergy medications, or sedatives concurrently while taking this medication. Individuals with a history of allergies or who have experienced allergic reactions to medications, as well as those with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, or urination difficulties, elderly individuals, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If a cough persists for a long time or is accompanied by fever, rash, or headache, consultation with a professional is also necessary before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, difficulty urinating, severe thirst, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication 5-6 times, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Children under 2 years of age should only take this medication after doctor consultation, and it is safer to administer it in syrup form to children under 7 years old. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosages and methods of administration, avoid alcohol, and exercise caution as this medication may cause drowsiness; therefore, driving or operating machinery should be avoided. Lastly, this medication should be stored out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Transferring to a different container may pose a risk of misuse and degrade quality, so caution should be exercised.
