This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of the cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

For 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Precautions

This medication may put stress on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Contains acetaminophen, which may rarely cause serious skin rashes or severe skin reactions such as blisters; if any abnormal skin symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately. Care should be taken not to exceed a maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg of acetaminophen, and it should not be taken together with other products containing acetaminophen to prevent liver damage. Contains pseudoephedrine; if rashes or pustules appear on the skin, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Do not take this medication if you have a history of allergic reactions, a history of asthma, are an infant under 3 months, or have certain antidepressants or kidney/heart diseases. It is safe not to take cough medications, other cold medications, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines while taking this medication.
