This medication is used to supply amino acids and small amounts of electrolytes to patients who are unable to receive nutritional support orally or via the gastrointestinal tract. It is safe for use in both adults and children over the age of 2 years. It helps improve the patient's nutritional status and effectively provides necessary nutrients.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Children aged 14 years and older and adults: The daily dosage is between 1-2 g of amino acids per kg body weight. This corresponds to 20-40 mL per kg body weight per day; for a 70 kg patient, the daily dosage would be 1,400-2,800 mL. Precautions

This medication must be used according to a doctor's instructions. It should not be used in patients who have allergies to any of its components or those with congenital defects in amino acid metabolism. It should not be administered to patients with severe cardiovascular issues, insufficient oxygen supply, metabolic acidosis, or severe liver or kidney dysfunction. Infants under 2 years old or patients where infusion therapy is contraindicated, such as those with heart failure or acute pulmonary failure, should not use this medication. Patients with fluid and electrolyte imbalances must correct these before administration, and in cases of renal failure, the dosage must be adjusted according to the patient's condition. Caution should be exercised when administering to patients with heart or liver failure, and routine blood tests should be conducted to monitor liver function, kidney function, and electrolyte concentrations during administration. At the time of administration, there may be adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, allergic reactions, pain, or inflammation at the injection site, so care is required. During pregnancy, the safety of this medication has not been fully proven; it should only be used if the benefits outweigh the risks. During breastfeeding, amino acids may be transmitted through breast milk, but breastfeeding should not be encouraged while receiving non-oral nutrition. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as fluid overload, electrolyte imbalance, pulmonary edema, nausea, vomiting, and headaches may occur, so the administration rate should be adjusted and stopped if necessary. This medication is for single use only and should only be used when the solution is clear or pale yellow; it should be used immediately after opening. When administering, sterile infusion sets should be used, and catheter infections should be checked daily. When mixing with glucose, lipids, vitamins, electrolytes, trace elements, etc., careful mixing in a sterile manner should be done, and it should not be mixed with other medications.
