Precautions

This medicine may irritate the upper gastrointestinal mucosa, potentially leading to adverse esophageal reactions such as esophagitis, esophageal ulcers, and esophageal erosion. If symptoms of esophageal irritation occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Take the medicine with a sufficient amount of water, and do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking it. Caution is necessary for patients with upper gastrointestinal diseases such as esophageal disorders, gastritis, duodenitis, and ulcers. This medicine should not be given to patients with esophageal stricture or achalasia, patients who cannot sit upright or stand for more than 30 minutes, patients with hypersensitivity to the ingredients, or patients with hypocalcemia. Taking this medicine may result in adverse reactions such as abdominal pain, nausea, dyspepsia, constipation, diarrhea, acid reflux, esophagitis, musculoskeletal pain, headache, dizziness, and rash. Particularly, with long-term use, rare occurrences of jaw osteonecrosis, severe bone pain, and severe skin reactions may occur, so any unusual symptoms should be immediately reported to a physician. This medicine may interfere with absorption when taken with calcium supplements or antacids, so it is recommended to space the administration by at least 30 minutes. Additionally, caution is needed as the risk of gastrointestinal adverse reactions may increase when taken with aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. During pregnancy, the benefits and risks to the mother and fetus should be carefully considered before administration, and caution is also necessary during breastfeeding. Not for use in children. Elderly patients or those with significantly impaired renal function should follow the physician's instructions regarding dose adjustments or administration. Take the medicine with a sufficient amount of water at least 30 minutes before meals, and do not lie down after taking it or chew or suck on it.
