Precautions

This medication can cause severe harm to the fetus when taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be immediately discontinued if pregnancy is confirmed. Patients with allergies to this medication, severe impairment of liver or kidney function, or a history of certain angioedema should not use this drug. Elderly patients or those with elevated serum potassium levels or poor liver function should use this drug with caution, as there is a risk of rapid blood pressure drop; it is advisable to start with a low dose and gradually increase. Side effects such as dizziness, headache, fatigue, and cough may occur during the use of this medication, and serious side effects such as kidney function impairment or hyperkalemia may rarely occur; if symptoms arise, medical consultation is required immediately. Regular blood tests to check kidney function and electrolyte levels are important, especially for heart failure patients or those post-myocardial infarction, requiring careful management. This medication may interact with other blood pressure medications, diuretics, or potassium-sparing diuretics, so it is important to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should preferably not take this medication; if breastfeeding, either avoid use or discontinue breastfeeding. Safety and efficacy in children and adolescents have not been sufficiently established, so use is not recommended. In case of an overdose, serious symptoms such as hypotension or decreased consciousness may occur, so immediate medical treatment is required. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to another container for safety. During use, there may be dizziness or drowsiness while driving or operating machinery, so caution is necessary.
