Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day; it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Additionally, due to the presence of pseudoephedrine, severe skin reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis may occur; if symptoms such as fever, erythema, or small blisters appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Since it contains acetaminophen, there is a rare risk of fatal skin reactions; if any skin rash or hypersensitivity reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen, which is 4,000mg, and do not use it in conjunction with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, those with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months of age, or those currently taking or have stopped certain antidepressants or antipsychotics within the last 2 weeks, as well as patients with severe hypertension or kidney disease, should not take this medication. It is safe not to take this medication concurrently with other cold medications, antipyretics, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Infants suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, children under the age of 15, individuals with allergic tendencies, and those with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid diseases, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, should consult a healthcare professional before use. If any unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, or insomnia occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If signs of hypersensitivity shock, severe skin disorders, asthma attacks, liver function abnormalities, pneumonia symptoms, sudden severe headache, or visual disturbances occur, discontinue use immediately. Mandatory adherence to the prescribed dosage and administration is necessary and avoid long-term use, and supervision by a guardian is required when administered to children. Alcohol consumption should be avoided while taking this medication, and caution is advised for operating vehicles or machinery due to possible drowsiness. Consult with a healthcare professional about the risk of side effects when taken with certain medications and do not administer to children under 2 years of age except in special circumstances.
