This medication is used to relieve various symptoms associated with the common cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. In other words, it improves the symptoms of a cold, helping patients lead a more comfortable daily life.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older 1 dose 1 pouch (20ml), taken 3 times a day 30 minutes after meals. In principle, the dosage interval is 4 hours.

Child dose

Ages 11 and older – Ages 15 and under 1 dose 2/3 pouch, Ages 7 and older – Ages 11 and under 1 dose 1/2 pouch, Ages 3 and older – Ages 7 and under 1 dose 1/3 pouch, Ages 2 and older – Ages 3 and under 1 dose 1/4 pouch.

Precautions

This medicine may burden the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. One of the ingredients in this medicine, acetaminophen, may rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if a rash or other allergic symptoms appear, stop taking it immediately. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen should not exceed 4,000mg, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. Those with allergies to this medication or its constituents, those who have experienced asthma when taking antipyretic analgesics or cold medicines in the past, infants under 3 months of age, and those currently on specific antidepressants or psychiatric medications or who have recently stopped should not take this medication. While taking this medicine, do not combine it with other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. In particular, children under 15 years old who have had or are suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with certain allergic constitutions, those with liver or kidney diseases, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, etc., appear after taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor, as severe cases may lead to shock or severe skin diseases, requiring caution. Children under the age of 2 should generally not take it unless in special circumstances, and administration to children should be supervised by an adult. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration, avoid long-term use, and refrain from alcohol consumption. Additionally, since drowsiness may occur, caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery, and there may be side effects when combined with certain medications, requiring caution. Store this medication out of the reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight, and keeping it in a cool, dry place. Finally, it is important not to transfer it to other containers to maintain quality.

Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor (anaphylactic shock), high fever along with severe rash, blisters, peeling skin, pain in mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), asthma, jaundice (yellowing of skin or eyes), severe lethargy (liver dysfunction), shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, coughing accompanied by fever (interstitial pneumonia)

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other products containing acetaminophen, MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, antiparkinson drugs, etc.), cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines, including oral medications (oral decongestants, motion sickness medications, allergy medications). Be cautious when combined with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, and tricyclic antidepressants.

Do not consume alcohol while taking this medication.
