In particular, it may be dangerous for patients who have had hypersensitivity to this medication or similar drugs. Additionally, patients with infectious mononucleosis or lymphocytic leukemia may have a higher risk of rash when using this medication. For patients with decreased liver function or severe kidney disease, adjustments are necessary as drug concentration may increase, thus requiring careful administration. Caution is also necessary for those with allergic constitution, difficulty in oral intake, the elderly, and those in poor overall condition. This medication can affect the gastrointestinal system, causing various gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and vomiting; any abnormal symptoms should be reported to a physician immediately. Prolonged use can affect liver function, requiring liver function tests as jaundice or hepatitis symptoms may appear. Rarely, serious allergic reactions such as skin rash, urticaria, and anaphylaxis may occur, so if symptoms appear, administration should be stopped immediately. Changes in blood cell counts or bleeding tendencies may occur, requiring careful observation in patients at risk of bleeding. Rare occurrences of central nervous system symptoms such as anxiety, confusion, and seizures have been reported, and there is a risk of kidney damage in patients with impaired kidney function, necessitating regular assessments. While taking antibiotics, the intestinal bacterial balance may be disrupted, leading to other infections, so if symptoms occur, consult a physician. Pregnant women should avoid using it, especially in the first three months, and breastfeeding mothers should take care as side effects may occur in the infant. Use in children under 12 years or weighing less than 40 kg is not recommended due to limited experience.
