It is safer for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as those who are breastfeeding, to avoid taking this medication. It must not be used in infants under 1 year of age, and for children under 6 years, it should only be administered in liquid form rather than as tablets. Drowsiness or fatigue may occur after taking this medication, so care should be taken when performing tasks that require concentration, such as driving or operating machinery. Concurrent use with alcohol or central nervous system depressants may worsen drowsiness or loss of concentration, so it is advisable not to take them together.
