If blood pressure isn't controlled well, the dose may be increased to 160 mg per day, or diuretics can be combined, possibly increasing up to a maximum of 320 mg. Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and nursing mothers should not take this medication. It is also unsafe for patients with severely impaired liver function or certain liver diseases. Patients with a history of allergic reactions or angioedema should avoid this medication. Patients with severe renal impairment or certain kidney diseases should also refrain from using it. Caution is advised when using this medication in elderly patients, patients with hyperkalemia, patients with mild liver impairment, and patients with heart valve diseases; blood pressure and renal function should be carefully monitored. When starting treatment, blood pressure may drop sharply, causing dizziness or fainting, so especially patients undergoing dialysis or those on diuretics should start with a low dose and gradually increase it. Caution is required when taking this medication alongside potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements, as it may dangerously raise potassium levels in the blood. When used with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, the blood pressure-lowering effect may be reduced or renal function may be affected, so it is essential to follow a doctor's guidance. Dizziness may occur while driving or operating machinery, so caution is advisable. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in children and adolescents, hence its use is not recommended. In case of overdose, severe hypotension and altered consciousness may occur, necessitating immediate medical treatment. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container should be avoided, as it may not maintain quality.
