This medication contains lactose, so patients with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. This medication is not intended for the treatment of acute asthma attacks, so appropriate emergency medication should be used when acute symptoms arise. Asthma patients should always carry fast-acting bronchodilators during treatment with this medication for acute exacerbation. Inhaled or oral corticosteroids should not be suddenly replaced with this medication; they must be adjusted gradually according to a doctor's instructions. During treatment with this medication, symptoms of the nervous system and mental health such as dizziness, headache, anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances may occur, and if these symptoms arise, immediate consultation with a physician is necessary. During pregnancy, this medication should only be used if necessary, and caution is advised when used during breastfeeding. It can be used in children and the elderly, but the dosage and method of use must be strictly adhered to; safety has not been established for infants under 6 months. In case of overdose, there is no specific antidote, so general treatment should be followed as per symptoms and doctor's instructions.
