Precautions

This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, so patients with the hereditary condition phenylketonuria should avoid taking it. The intake of aspartame should be limited to below the WHO recommended amount, and adults should be careful not to exceed 2.4g per day. Patients allergic to this medication or its ingredients should not take it, nor should those with lactose intolerance or specific genetic issues. This medication is not intended as a treatment for acute asthma attacks, so patients should always carry a rescue inhaler. When reducing the use of inhaled corticosteroids, consult a physician, and do not abruptly switch to another medication. If neurological or psychiatric symptoms (e.g., anxiety, depression, hallucinations) occur during treatment, inform your doctor immediately. Patients with exercise-induced asthma should not rely solely on this medication for treatment but should continue using an inhaled β-agonist and keep a rescue inhaler ready. Patients with aspirin hypersensitivity should not take this medication concurrently with aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Rarely, serious side effects such as systemic eosinophilia or vasculitis may occur, so patients should be closely monitored. There have been no significant interactions reported when using this medication with multiple drugs; however, caution is necessary when used with certain enzyme inducers. Pregnant women should use this medication only when necessary, and nursing mothers should also be cautious when taking it. Children and the elderly can use it, but the dosage and administration method should be adjusted according to age, and safety has not been established for children under 6 months. There is no specific antidote for overdose, but general symptomatic treatment and clinical observation are necessary. This medication is sensitive to light, so it should be taken immediately after opening, and stored out of children's reach. During treatment, it is essential to follow the doctor's instructions and consult immediately if symptoms worsen or unusual reactions occur.
