Dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (site of disease) once or several times a day. Adjust according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with infections in the mouth caused by tuberculosis, viruses, fungi, etc. Patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication should also not be administered. It should not be used in patients with syphilis, chickenpox, fungal infections, bacterial skin infections, perioral dermatitis, rosacea, or gum inflammation due to vitamin C deficiency. Using this medication may result in fungal or bacterial infections in the mouth, so if such infections are present, antifungal or antibacterial agents should be used simultaneously, and use should be discontinued if symptoms do not improve. Application inside the mouth may cause slight numbness or discomfort, and taste may become abnormal or dulled. Allergic reactions may occur rarely, so if such symptoms appear, use should be stopped immediately. Long-term use may suppress pituitary and adrenal function, requiring caution. Skin-related issues such as atopy, vascular dilation, striae, steroid acne, perioral dermatitis, and hirsutism may occur. This medication contains propylene glycol, so it should be used cautiously in individuals allergic to this ingredient. In general, it should not be used when there is an infection in the mouth, but if necessary, should be used together with antibacterial or antifungal agents. It is advisable not to eat immediately after applying the medication. Caution should be taken as a sense of discomfort may occur at the application site. It is not suitable for use in the eyes. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use it cautiously, as it may harm the fetus, and should avoid overdose or long-term use. In children or infants, prolonged use may cause growth problems, so excessive or long-term use should be avoided. In the elderly, prolonged use may lead to risks of infection, diabetes, osteoporosis, hypertension, cataracts, glaucoma, etc., so it should be used with caution.
