Precautions
This medication can put stress on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. One of the ingredients, acetaminophen, can rarely cause serious skin rashes or allergic reactions; if any rash or unusual reaction appears on the skin, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000mg of acetaminophen, and do not take this medication alongside other products containing acetaminophen. Additionally, the pseudoephedrine component in this medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if symptoms such as fever or small blisters on the skin occur, stop taking it and consult a professional. Individuals with a history of certain diseases or allergies, particularly those who have had hypersensitivity reactions to this medication or its ingredients, have a history of asthma, infants, individuals on certain medications, or those with severe hypertension or kidney disease should not take this medicine. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to simultaneously use cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with a predisposition to allergic reactions, those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a professional before taking this medication. If any rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, severe respiratory difficulties, or severe skin reactions with high fever occurs during use, discontinue taking it immediately and consult medical personnel. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency, avoid prolonged use, and ensure that children take it under adult supervision. It is important to avoid alcohol during use and to refrain from driving or operating machinery as drowsiness may occur. The risk of side effects may increase when taken with certain medications, so it is necessary to consult a professional if you are taking other medications. Store this medication out of reach of children and in a tightly sealed container, avoiding direct sunlight and keeping it in a dry and cool place. To maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer it to other containers.
