This medication helps relieve symptoms caused by the common cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. It assists in reducing uncomfortable symptoms of the cold, allowing for a more pleasant daily life. By effectively controlling symptoms, it enables smoother performance of daily activities. This medication is used to effectively relieve cold symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 2 capsules per dose, 3 times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals.

Child dose

Ages 8 to under 15: 1 capsule per dose, 3 times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. One of the ingredients in this medication, acetaminophen, may rarely cause serious skin allergic reactions. If symptoms such as rash or itching occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000mg. Caution is advised as taking this along with other products containing acetaminophen may risk liver damage. The pseudoephedrine in this medication can rarely cause severe skin adverse reactions. If fever, rash, or small blisters appear, discontinue use and consult a professional. Those with hypersensitivity to this medication or who have previously experienced allergic reactions to this or similar medications should avoid taking it. Children suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergies, or those with liver, kidney, heart, or thyroid diseases should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding mothers, should consult a doctor before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, insomnia, severe headache, or shortness of breath occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and seek advice from a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for 5-6 doses, consult a doctor before taking additional doses. Ensure that the prescribed usage and dosage are strictly followed, and avoid prolonged use. Children should be supervised by a guardian during administration. Avoid alcohol during the course of treatment, and be cautious as drowsiness may occur, making it safer to refrain from driving or operating machinery. Taking this medication with certain other drugs may increase the risk of side effects, so consult a professional if taking other medications. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, and kept sealed to maintain quality. Additionally, it is advisable not to transfer the medication to another container to preserve its quality.

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take with other products containing acetaminophen, MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotic medications, mood stabilizers, antiparkinsonian medications, etc.), cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. People who have stopped taking MAO inhibitors within the past 2 weeks should not take this medication. Patients taking barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, and alcohol should consult a doctor.

Food interactions
