This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and heaviness in the head caused by common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For adolescents aged 12 years and older or adults, spray 1 time into each nostril up to 3 times a day. The interval between applications should be at least 8 hours.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by children under the age of 12. Avoid use in individuals who have had allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to this medication or its ingredients. Persons taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics or those who have discontinued them within the past 2 weeks should not use this medication. Individuals who have undergone surgery exposing the cranial meninges or specific pituitary surgeries should also not use this medication. It is safer for patients with closed-angle glaucoma not to use this medication. Patients with dry or atrophic rhinitis should also avoid using this medication. Precautions are needed for patients with specific hormone tumors or benign prostatic hyperplasia. Before using this medication, individuals with allergies or those who have previously experienced allergic symptoms from medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, or glaucoma should also consult a specialist beforehand. Extra caution is necessary for patients on specific antidepressants or those sensitive to adrenergic substances. Pregnant women or those capable of becoming pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, should use this medication under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Patients receiving treatment or those with specific cough symptoms should also consult before use. If allergic symptoms such as rash, swelling, or itching occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after using for more than 3 days, stop use and consult a doctor. If severe headaches, nausea, vomiting, or visual disturbances occur, stop using the medication immediately and consult healthcare professionals. The prescribed dosage and administration should be strictly followed, and excessive use may worsen nasal congestion. This medication is for nasal use only and should not be applied to the eyes or ears. Avoid co-use and it is recommended not to use continuously for more than 7 days. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during use, and supervision by a guardian is necessary when used by children. Due to the ingredients in this medication, bronchospasm or irritation of the nasal mucosa may occur, so caution is advised for prolonged use. Store this medication out of reach of children, in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture. It is important not to transfer it to another container for quality maintenance.
