Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve acute and chronic pain ranging from moderate to severe.
For children over 12 years and adults: The dosage is adjusted according to the patient's level of pain and therapeutic response. It is recommended to administer 4 tablets as the initial dose, followed by intervals of at least 6 hours, not exceeding 16 tablets in one day. The lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration possible. Avoid administering this medication longer than necessary and conduct regular monitoring to determine the need for ongoing administration based on the characteristics and severity of the disease.
The dosage for children over 12 years is the same as for adults.
This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who consume several alcoholic drinks daily must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. If a severe rash or allergic reaction occurs while taking this medication, stop immediately and inform healthcare personnel. This medication can cause seizures, so patients with a history of seizures or those at high risk for seizures should be cautious. Rarely, serious allergic reactions may occur; if symptoms such as difficulty breathing or hives appear, seek treatment immediately. Patients with asthma may experience difficulty breathing when taking this medication, so it should be taken under the supervision of healthcare personnel. Combining this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants can lead to severe drowsiness or respiratory depression, so caution is advised. Patients with poor liver function should consult a physician before taking this medication and should not take it with other acetaminophen products. Depending on genetic factors, patients who metabolize this medication quickly may be at higher risk for respiratory depression, requiring special caution. Do not administer this medication to children under 12 years old or to adolescents under 18 years old who have undergone certain surgeries.
