This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of a cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

(Daytime) Aged 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules, 2 times a day, 30 minutes after meals (Nighttime) Aged 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules, 1 time a day, 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so those who consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The acetaminophen contained in this medication may cause liver damage in case of overdose, so care should be taken not to exceed a maximum of 4,000 mg per day, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. Rarely, serious skin allergic reactions can occur due to acetaminophen, so if symptoms such as rash or itching develop, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication contains pseudoephedrine, and if fever, skin rash, pustules, etc. occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Those who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients, anyone with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, those taking certain antidepressants, and those with high blood pressure or serious kidney disease should not use this medication. While taking, it is advisable not to take cough suppressants, expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Especially children, pregnant women, nursing mothers, those with chronic illnesses, and the elderly should definitely consult a professional before use, and if abnormal symptoms occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor. This medication should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosages and should not be taken long-term, and alcohol should be avoided while taking it. Additionally, store out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and keep tightly sealed in a cool, dry place.

  • Sudden and very severe headache

Mild side effects

Rash, redness (erythema), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling (edema), dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA), difficulty urinating, dry mouth, drowsiness

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with oral medications containing cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Do not take this medication if you are taking MAO inhibitors or have discontinued them within the last 2 weeks. If taking diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, or steroids, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
