Those with cardiovascular disease or risk factors should be particularly cautious and consult a healthcare provider if symptoms occur. This medication can impact the gastrointestinal tract, potentially causing serious gastrointestinal issues such as bleeding, ulcers, or perforation. These problems may occur without symptoms, so elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal disorders should exercise particular caution. This medication should not be taken by individuals with certain conditions or who have had allergic reactions. For example, individuals with peptic ulcers, hypersensitivity to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or severe heart failure should not use this medication.
