This medication is used for respiratory diseases that are difficult to expel phlegm, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, laryngitis, sinusitis, and cystic fibrosis.

How to take

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients. Patients with ulcers in the stomach or duodenum should not take this medication. Children under 2 years of age should not use this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic disorder that impairs lactose digestion should not take it. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant must consult a doctor before taking this medication. Moreover, as it is uncertain whether this medication is excreted in breast milk, nursing women should also consult a professional before taking it. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, inflammation of the mouth, heartburn, or diarrhea appear while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and consult a physician. If allergic reactions such as hives, itching, rash, headache, tinnitus, or bronchospasm occur in asthma patients, discontinue use immediately and inform a professional. Symptoms such as rapid heartbeat or high blood pressure may occur rarely, and very rarely, a serious allergic reaction called anaphylaxis may occur. If symptoms of respiratory distress occur, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare personnel. When taking this medication with other oral antibiotics, take care to space them at least 2 hours apart, as the effectiveness of the antibiotics may be reduced. Additionally, avoid mixing this medication solution with other drugs. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and storing medications outside their original container may lead to misuse or quality degradation, so it must be stored in its original container.
