This medication is used for patients who need to simultaneously take two ingredients, Olmesartan Medoxomil and Rosuvastatin. Olmesartan Medoxomil is effective in the treatment of essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin is primarily used as an adjunct therapy when hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia are not controlled by diet and exercise. Additionally, it helps to slow the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risks of cardiovascular disease, stroke, myocardial infarction, and coronary revascularization. This medication manages both hypertension and hyperlipidemia, overall improving the cardiovascular health of patients.
