This medication is used for hypertension and stable angina, as well as myocardial ischemia due to coronary vasospasm. It also helps to reduce the risk of hospitalization for patients who have confirmed coronary artery disease through recent angiography, without heart failure or decreased cardiac output, and to lower the risk of coronary artery revascularization. Therefore, it is effectively used in the management of cardiovascular disease and symptom relief.
