This medication should not be taken by individuals who have allergic reactions to this medication or its components. Patients with ulcers in the stomach or duodenum should also not take this medication. Children under 2 years of age should not use this medication. Additionally, since this medication contains lactose, those with genetic disorders that prevent them from digesting lactose should refrain from taking it. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should consult a physician before taking this medication. Breastfeeding women should also consult an expert before use, as it is unclear whether this medication passes into breast milk. If digestive symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomatitis, heartburn, or diarrhea occur during use, treatment should be stopped immediately and a physician consulted. If allergic reactions such as hives, itching, rash, headaches, tinnitus, or bronchospasm occur, treatment should be stopped immediately and an expert consulted. Symptoms like increased heart rate or elevated blood pressure may also occur, so caution is needed. This medication can also cause symptoms like difficulty in breathing, so it is important to consult medical personnel immediately if any unusual symptoms arise. When taken with oral antibiotics, the effectiveness of the antibiotics may be reduced; thus, a minimum interval of 2 hours should be maintained between doses. Mixing other medications with this medication's solution should be avoided. It should be stored out of reach of children, and medicines should be kept in their original containers for safety. The inhalation form of this medication should be discussed with an expert before taking it if the individual suffers from bronchial asthma or poor respiratory function. The safety in elderly and pediatric populations has not been fully established, hence caution is required. If bronchial obstruction or bronchospasm symptoms occur after inhalation, treatment should be stopped immediately and a physician consulted. Symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, blood-stained sputum, chills, fever, drowsiness, and chest tightness may occur during inhalation, so care should be taken. Increased bronchial secretions may occur; if expectoration does not occur naturally, appropriate measures such as mechanical suction or changes in position should be taken. When using the inhalation solution and antibiotics together, it is preferable to administer them separately, and it is not used as an injection or eye drop. The mask may stick to the face after inhalation, but it can be easily removed with water. After using the inhalation solution, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the nebulizer to prevent residue and prolonged storage may damage the equipment. Certain antibiotics mixed with this medication may cause precipitation or discoloration, so it is recommended not to use them together. During nebulization, it is advisable to dilute the medication to prevent high drug concentration.
