This medicine helps in the easy expulsion of sputum in cases where sputum expectoration is difficult, such as in diseases like acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, laryngitis, sinusitis, and cystic fibrosis. These conditions may lead to an increase in mucus in the airways, making breathing uncomfortable; this medication helps liquefy the mucus, making it easier to expel and improving respiratory health. Therefore, it is effectively used to alleviate symptoms of sputum expectoration difficulty.
