Treatment of erectile dysfunction
This medication is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Sexual arousal is required for effect, and this must be remembered. Additionally, this medication does not have indications for use in women, and is intended for male patients only. It is used as a treatment that helps improve erectile function safely and effectively alleviate symptoms.
Use in adult men The recommended dose of this medicine is 10mg, taken before anticipated sexual activity, regardless of meals. Patients in whom tadalafil (tadalafil) 10mg does not provide an adequate effect may try 20 mg. This medicine may be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended frequency of administration is once daily. Long-term safety following prolonged daily dosing has not been established, and because the effect of this medicine usually lasts for more than one day, continuous daily administration is strongly discouraged. [See section 1. Warnings and section 11.1) Pharmacodynamic Properties.] Use in elderly men No dosage adjustments are required in elderly patients. Use in men with renal impairment No dosage adjustment is required in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. The maximum recommended dose for patients with severe renal impairment is 10mg. [See section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic Properties.] Use in men with hepatic impairment The recommended dose of this product is 10mg, taken before anticipated sexual activity, regardless of meals. Since clinical data on the safety of this product in patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C) are limited, the physician should carefully assess the benefit/risk for each patient if prescribing it. There are no data on administration of doses higher than 10mg to patients with hepatic impairment. [See section 3. Use with caution in the following patients and section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic Properties.] Use in men with diabetes No dosage adjustment is required in patients with diabetes.
Use in children and adolescents This product should not be used in people under 18 years of age.

Patients with specific heart conditions, those taking organic nitrates, patients with certain retinal diseases, or those allergic to any ingredient in this product should not use this medication. Combining with other erectile dysfunction treatments is not recommended as safety and efficacy have not been established. There is a risk of side effects when taken with alpha-blockers or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, so consultation with a physician is necessary, and patients with severely impaired kidney or liver function should also exercise caution.
