Acute bronchitis is a condition where the bronchi become inflamed mainly due to infection. This medicine helps alleviate the inflammation of the bronchi and reduce symptoms of cough and phlegm. It also helps keep the airways clear, making it easier to breathe. It alleviates discomfort caused by acute bronchitis and supports quick recovery. This medication is used for the treatment of acute bronchitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children aged 12 and over: 1 tablet per dose, 3 times a day, to be taken with a small amount of water.

Precautions

This medication is not safe for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients who experience frequent bleeding or take medications that impair blood clotting should not use this medicine. Patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function should also avoid using this medication. Avoid use if allergic to any of the ingredients in this drug. This medication should not be administered to children under 12 years of age. This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with genetic disorders that prevent lactose digestion should avoid taking it. While taking this medicine, be aware of possible gastrointestinal issues such as stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, diarrhea, as well as mild gum bleeding and nosebleeds. Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash, hives, and itching may occur; very rarely, severe allergic reactions including facial swelling, difficulty breathing, and low blood pressure may occur. Liver function may be impaired, so if symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, severe abdominal pain, or loss of appetite occur, discontinue use immediately. If fever persists or symptoms such as difficulty breathing and blood-stained phlegm occur, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. It is advisable not to take this medication while lying down. There have been no reported drug interactions, but caution is required when taking anticoagulants, as this drug may affect blood coagulation. Safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been established, so it is best to avoid use. Oversdosage may lead to exacerbated side effects, so consult a doctor if an overdose occurs. Keep this medication out of reach of children, and avoid transferring the medicine to other containers to prevent accidents.
