Precautions

This medication should not be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients at risk for bleeding or taking blood coagulation-inhibiting medication should also avoid using this medicine. It should not be administered to patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function. Individuals allergic to any component of this medication should not take it. It is not safe to use in children under 12 years of age. This medication contains lactose, so it should not be administered to patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic conditions. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 4, so patients with a history of allergy to this component should use it with caution. During treatment, gastrointestinal issues such as stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. Occasional symptoms of mild bleeding, such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds, may appear. Rarely, allergic reactions such as skin rashes, hives, or itching may occur. Very rarely, severe allergic reactions such as facial swelling or difficulty breathing may occur, so caution is advised. Symptoms indicating worsening liver function may appear, so patients with liver health issues should be particularly cautious. Platelet levels may decrease, but this could be due to pre-existing conditions. If symptoms of liver damage including jaundice of the skin or eyes, dark urine, severe abdominal pain, or loss of appetite occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve within a week after taking this medication or symptoms such as fever, difficulty breathing, or blood in phlegm persist, stop taking the medication and visit a hospital. It is advisable not to take this medication while lying down. There are no reported specific interactions with other medications, but caution is required for patients taking anticoagulants as this may affect blood coagulation. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are advised not to use this medication as safety has not been established. In cases of overdose, side effects may worsen, so contact a doctor immediately if overdose is suspected. Keep this medication out of reach of children, and avoid transferring it to other containers.
