Acute bronchitis is a respiratory disease primarily caused by infections, accompanied by symptoms such as coughing, phlegm, and difficulty breathing. This medication alleviates the symptoms of acute bronchitis and reduces airway inflammation, making breathing easier. Therefore, it is used in the treatment of acute bronchitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet at a time, 3 times a day, taken with a small amount of water.

Precautions

This medicine is not safe for use in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients with a tendency for bleeding or those taking anticoagulant medications should also avoid this medicine. Patients with severe liver or kidney diseases should not take this medicine. This medicine should not be used if there is a history of allergic reactions to its components. It contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or genetic disorders such as glucose-galactose malabsorption should avoid taking it. It is not administered to children under 12 years of age. During treatment, digestive symptoms such as occasional abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea may occur. Rarely, bleeding symptoms such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may occur. Allergic reactions like skin rashes, hives, or itching may occur, so caution is advised. Very rarely, severe allergic reactions such as facial swelling, shortness of breath, and low blood pressure may occur. If liver function abnormalities occur, or if symptoms arise, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. There may be a risk of reduced platelet count, so it is advisable to periodically check blood test results. If symptoms of liver damage, such as jaundice, dark urine, severe upper abdominal pain, and loss of appetite occur, stop taking the medicine immediately. If symptoms such as fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-stained sputum persist for several days, discontinue medication and consult healthcare professionals. It is not safe to take this medicine lying down. While there have been no reports of interactions with other medications, caution is needed when used alongside certain anticoagulants as it may affect blood coagulation. It is recommended not to use this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding. In case of overdose, adverse reactions may be more severe, so consult a doctor immediately if overdose occurs. Keep this medicine out of reach of children and do not transfer it to another container.
