Precautions

This medication is not recommended for use by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients with a tendency to bleed or those taking anticoagulants should not take this medication. Patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function should also avoid this medication. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to any components of this medication should not take it. This medication is not used in children under 12 years of age. Taking this medication may cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea. Rarely, mild bleeding such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may occur. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, hives, and itching may rarely occur. Very rarely, serious allergic reactions such as facial swelling, difficulty breathing, and low blood pressure may occur, so caution is advised. Liver function test results may increase, and inflammatory liver diseases such as hepatitis may occur in some patients. While platelet counts may decrease during this medication, this could also be due to other underlying conditions. If symptoms of liver damage present such as jaundice, changes in urine color, severe abdominal pain, or loss of appetite occur, the medication should be stopped immediately and a doctor should be consulted. If symptoms do not improve within one week of taking this medication, or if symptoms such as fever, difficulty breathing, or blood-streaked sputum persist, the medication should be discontinued and healthcare professionals should be notified. It is advisable not to take this medication while lying down. As of now, no specific interactions with other medications have been reported, however, since it may affect blood clotting, patients taking anticoagulants should consult their doctor. It is preferable not to use it during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, as safety has not been established. Overdose may exacerbate adverse reactions, so in case of overdose, consult a doctor immediately. Keep this medication out of reach of children and avoid transferring it to another container, as this may affect its quality. The effects of this medication on driving or machinery operation are unknown, so caution is needed.
