This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of cold such as sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: Take 2 capsules three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after meals

Child dose

Ages 8 to under 15: Take 1 capsule three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication may put stress on the liver, so anyone who drinks more than three alcoholic drinks daily on a regular basis should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking it. Due to the ingredients in this medication, there can be rare but serious skin reactions such as severe rash, blisters, or redness, so you should stop taking it immediately if you notice any skin abnormalities after use. As it contains acetaminophen, care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing medications. Children who have had or are suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic tendencies, those with liver, kidney, or heart disease, the elderly, those with gastrointestinal issues, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur after taking, discontinue immediately and consult with medical personnel. Particularly, immediate medical attention is needed if severe allergic reactions, skin disorders, asthma symptoms, or signs of liver dysfunction appear. For children, it is generally advised not to take this if under 2 years of age, and if necessary, a doctor's evaluation is required. Be sure to follow the prescribed dosage and directions, avoid long-term continuous use, and it is important to administer to children under adult supervision. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, as combining with certain medications may increase the risk of side effects. Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take with other products that contain acetaminophen, MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson's drugs, etc.), antitussives (cough suppressants), expectorants (phlegm medications), other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Those who have discontinued MAO inhibitors within the last two weeks should not take this medication. Be cautious.
