Precautions

This medication is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Before taking this medication, you must confirm your heart health condition. Sexual activity itself can place strain on the heart, so patients with cardiovascular disease need to exercise more caution. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours after taking the drug, you must seek medical attention immediately. Failure to treat may lead to damage to penile tissues and permanent erectile dysfunction. Taking this medication with blood pressure-lowering drugs such as nitrates or nitric oxide donors may cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure, so be sure to inform your doctor about those medications. Patients with severe cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, acute cardiac arrest, unstable angina, or stroke should not take this medication. This medication may affect sperm production, so it is advisable to consult with a doctor regarding reproductive function if taken for an extended period. Patients with anatomical abnormalities of the penis or certain blood disorders should take this medication with caution. Patients with significantly impaired liver or kidney function should consult a doctor about dosage adjustment or whether to take this medication. When taken with alpha-blockers or antihypertensive medications, there may be a risk of too low blood pressure, so consult your doctor before taking. This medication is not for use by women, children, or adolescents. If sudden loss of vision or hearing occurs while taking, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention. In case of overdose, immediate medical treatment is necessary, as dialysis does not significantly affect the elimination of this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept in its original packaging for safety. During treatment, side effects such as headache, dyspepsia, back pain, muscle pain, flushing, etc. may occur, but they are mostly mild and temporary. It is advisable to reduce alcohol consumption before and after taking the medication, as dizziness or low blood pressure symptoms may occur when taken with alcohol. This medication will only be effective when sexual stimulation occurs; taking it alone will not result in automatic erection.
