Alleviation of oral inflammation (thrush) and sterilization effect after periodontal surgery
This medication is used to alleviate various oral inflammations such as inflammation caused by prosthesis, oral thrush, gingivitis, pharyngitis, and aphthous stomatitis. It is also effective for sterilization after periodontal surgery. This improves oral health and reduces discomfort caused by inflammation.
Gargle with 15mL twice a day for about 1 minute. For oral mucositis caused by dentures, soak the dentures for 15 minutes twice a day to clean. Adjust the dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.
This medication may disrupt the balance of normal bacteria in the mouth, so it is advised not to use it for extended periods. Individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to this medication should not use it. Those with asthma or allergic diseases, or a history of such conditions, should exercise caution when using this medication. There may be discoloration on the teeth or gums, as well as an increase in tartar, and sensation may change. In particular, children may experience peeling of the oral mucosa or mild irritation. Rarely, severe allergic reactions may cause symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, or difficulty breathing; if these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and seek medical assistance. If allergic symptoms such as rash or hives appear, stop using the medication, as severe cases may lead to life-threatening shock. Occasionally, temporary sialadenitis may occur after the use of this medication. For general bacterial infections, antibiotics should be used instead of this medication, and the treatment duration should not usually exceed 10 days for safety. After treating gum inflammation, the condition of the gums should not solely determine the effectiveness of periodontal treatment. This medication may cause discoloration on teeth, prosthetic devices, and the back of the tongue, so individuals who do not want discoloration should avoid using it. Individuals wearing rough-surfaced or gap-filled prosthetics should use caution, and in some cases, prosthetics may need to be replaced. Pregnant women should use this medication only when the benefits outweigh the risks, and those who are breastfeeding should use it cautiously, as the drug may pass into breast milk. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been adequately confirmed for children under 18 years of age. This medication is for rinsing the mouth only and should never be swallowed. After use, store out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep in a cool, dry place away from sources of ignition.
