Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve acute and chronic pain ranging from moderate to severe.
For children over 12 years and adults: The dosage should be adjusted according to the patient's level of pain and treatment response. It is recommended to start with an initial dose of 4 tablets, ensuring intervals of at least 6 hours between doses and not exceeding 16 tablets in one day. The lowest effective dose should be administered for as short a duration as possible. To avoid unnecessary prolonged treatment, regular monitoring should be conducted to assess the need for continued medication due to the nature and severity of the disease.
This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who consume alcohol above certain amounts daily must consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If any skin rash or allergic reactions occur during treatment, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare provider. The active ingredient tramadol may increase the risk of seizures, so patients with a history of seizures or at high risk should use it with caution. The risk of seizures could increase when tramadol is taken with certain antidepressants or other central nervous system medications, so always consult a doctor when combining. Patients with impaired respiratory function or acute asthma may experience worsened respiratory depression while taking this medication, so it should only be used in environments equipped with medical support. Taking this medication with alcohol or benzodiazepine medications may lead to severe drowsiness, respiratory depression, or coma, so combinations should be avoided. Patients with head injuries or high intracranial pressure should be cautious as symptoms may worsen while using this medication. Tramadol can lead to physical and psychological dependence; therefore, regular monitoring for dependence is necessary during prolonged use. The acetaminophen component can cause liver damage, thus patients with impaired liver function must consult a doctor before use and avoid exceeding the daily dose. This medication should not be administered to children under 12 years of age and adolescents under 18 years old who have undergone tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy. Patients with sleep apnea or respiratory conditions should be monitored closely as their symptoms may worsen while taking this medication.
