How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 packet (90mL) three times a day, 30 minutes after meals. It can also be taken after meals and at bedtime as needed, with a prescribed interval of four hours.

Child dose

Ages 15 and above: 1 packet (90mL) three times a day. Ages 11 and above to below 15: 2/3 packet (about 60mL) three times a day. Ages 7 and above to below 11: 1 packet three times a day.

Precautions

This medication can put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The acetaminophen component in this medication may very rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if any rashes or allergic symptoms appear after taking it, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000mg, and care should be taken to ensure that the total amount of all acetaminophen products, including this medication, does not exceed this limit. Individuals with an allergy to this medication or its ingredients, those with a history of asthma, infants less than three months old, and those taking or recently having stopped specific antidepressants or psychiatric medications should avoid using this medication. It is also advisable to avoid taking this medication in conjunction with other cold medications, antipyretics, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with a history of allergies or drug allergies, and individuals with major organ diseases such as liver or kidney disease should definitely consult an expert before taking this medication. If any unusual symptoms appear while taking this medication, such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Especially in cases of severe allergic reactions, skin disorders, or symptoms of liver dysfunction, immediate medical attention is required. Children under two years of age are generally advised not to take this medication unless necessary, in which case a doctor's consultation is required. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and usage, avoid prolonged use, and abstain from alcohol. Furthermore, this medication may cause drowsiness, so caution should be exercised while driving or operating machinery. The risk of side effects may increase when taken in conjunction with specific diuretics or medications containing licorice, so caution is warranted.

Interactions

Drug interactions

This medication should not be taken in conjunction with MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson's drugs, etc.), expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretics, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines (oral medications for rhinitis, motion sickness medications, allergy medications). It should not be taken for two weeks after discontinuing MAO inhibitors.

Food interactions

This medication should not be taken with alcohol. There may also be interactions with potassium-containing agents, licorice-containing agents, glycyrrhizin or its salts.
