Breastfeeding women should avoid taking this medication if possible, as it can be transmitted through breast milk, and discontinue breastfeeding if necessary. The safety for children, especially low birth weight infants, neonates, and infants, has not been adequately established, so caution is needed. Elderly patients often have decreased liver and kidney function, increasing the likelihood of adverse reactions; therefore, regular observation and dosage adjustments may be necessary if required. In cases of overdose, there is a risk of arrhythmias, so if symptoms are suspected, visit a medical institution immediately and appropriate monitoring, such as an ECG, may be necessary.
