Precautions

This drug should not be used in certain patients. Patients with allergies to this drug or its components or with a history of hypersensitivity reactions such as angioedema should not be administered this drug. Patients with symptoms of orthostatic hypotension may experience worsening symptoms while taking this drug and should avoid it. Patients with severely impaired liver function may have increased serum drug concentrations, so it is advisable not to administer this drug. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not use this drug. Patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should also avoid this drug. Patients with severe renal impairment should use this drug with caution due to the risk of increased drug concentration. Elderly patients may have different drug responses due to reduced bodily functions, so it should be administered with caution. When taken with antihypertensive agents or certain cardiovascular drugs, including PDE5 inhibitors, caution is required due to the possibility of exacerbated blood pressure decrease. In particular, patients taking alpha-1 blockers should avoid using this drug together; if necessary, it should be used with caution. Patients with a history of urinary syncope also need to be careful when using this drug. Taking this drug may lead to various side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, hypotension, palpitations, dyspepsia, and rashes. In severe cases, fainting or loss of consciousness may occur, and if symptoms appear, the use of the drug should be stopped immediately and consulted with a doctor. Liver dysfunction or jaundice symptoms may appear, so regular liver function tests are necessary. Rarely, persistent erection, skin rashes, and allergic reactions have been reported, so any abnormal symptoms should be reported immediately. This drug can lower blood pressure, so caution should be exercised to avoid overdose, and be wary of dizziness due to blood pressure changes when standing up. This drug does not treat the underlying cause but relieves symptoms; if ineffective, alternative treatment options should be considered. Be careful when engaging in dangerous activities such as driving or working at heights, as dizziness or drowsiness may increase the risk of accidents. Capsules or sustained-release tablets should not be chewed or crushed but must be taken with water. Avoid changing the packaging condition or placing it in places where children can reach it. Women who are pregnant or children under 18 years of age are advised not to use this drug, as its safety has not been established.
