Treatment of duodenal ulcers and gastric ulcers (active, NSAID-induced), eradication of Helicobacter pylori, relief of gastroesophageal reflux disease symptoms, and suppression of hypersecretion.
This medication is effective for the short-term treatment of active duodenal ulcers and gastric ulcers. It is also used to eliminate Helicobacter pylori to prevent the recurrence of duodenal ulcers. Even after treatment, it helps in the maintenance therapy of duodenal ulcers and erosive esophagitis. It is also utilized for treating and preventing gastric ulcers caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Furthermore, it is effective in the short-term treatment of symptoms related to gastroesophageal reflux disease and is used to alleviate pathological hypersecretion conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Overall, this medication is used for the treatment and symptom improvement of gastrointestinal disorders.
Administer 15 mg of Lansoprazole orally once daily for 4 weeks. Administer 30 mg of Lansoprazole orally once daily for 8 weeks. Administer 30 mg of Lansoprazole combined with 250-500 mg of Clarithromycin and 1,000 mg of Amoxicillin orally twice daily (every 12 hours) for 7 days. May extend treatment up to 14 days if necessary. Administer Lansoprazole 30 mg and Amoxicillin 1,000 mg once daily.
Children and adolescents aged 12 to 17: 15 mg once daily for 8 weeks 30 mg once daily for 8 weeks Children aged 1 to 11: 30 kg or less: 15 mg once daily for 12 weeks
This medication should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to certain components or benzimidazoles, or those with a history of such reactions. Patients allergic to penicillin or macrolide antibiotics should also avoid this medication. Additionally, it is safe not to administer this drug to patients on certain heart-related medications, HIV treatments, pregnant women, or those taking specific antiviral medications. Caution should be exercised when administering this drug to patients with a history of drug hypersensitivity, impaired liver function, the elderly, nursing mothers, and children. During use, serious side effects such as anaphylaxis, blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, severe skin reactions, pneumonia, nephritis, etc., may occur, hence symptoms should be closely monitored. If any abnormal symptoms occur, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Long-term use may lead to vitamin B12 deficiency, increased risk of fractures, hypomagnesemia, etc., hence regular check-ups are necessary. This drug suppresses gastric acid secretion, which may affect the absorption of other medications, hence it is important to inform healthcare professionals about other medications being taken, particularly regarding interactions with antiviral agents, antibiotics, anticoagulants, etc. Pregnant or nursing women should preferably avoid this medication; if necessary, breastfeeding should be stopped. For children or the elderly, safety and efficacy have not been fully established, and careful dosing and monitoring are required. In cases of overdose, since it cannot be removed by hemodialysis, immediate visit to a medical facility for appropriate treatment is necessary. This medicine should be stored out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers. The instructions for use must be strictly followed.
Urticaria, angioedema, anaphylactic reactions (generalized rash, facial swelling, difficulty breathing), shock, acute interstitial nephritis, jaundice, toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome), Stevens-Johnson syndrome, DRESS syndrome, interstitial pneumonia, interstitial nephritis, pseudomembranous colitis, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, painful oral/ocular mucosa, severe swelling, markedly reduced urine output, generalized severe swelling.
Headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, taste disturbance, nausea, vomiting, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, skin itching, rash, urticaria, swelling, abdominal distension, weakness, chill, fatigue, neck stiffness/pain, pelvic pain, chest pain, flu-like symptoms, bad breath, infections, angina, arrhythmias, bradycardia/tachycardia, cerebrovascular accidents/cerebral infarction, hypertension/hypotension, migraine, myocardial infarction, palpitations, vasodilation, fainting, thrombocytopenia, anemia, bleeding, lymphadenopathy.

This medication may be sensitive to air or moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. The storage temperature should be maintained between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature. This type of storage can help maintain the medication's effectiveness over time.
