This medication contains lactose, thus those with hereditary galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Patients under medical treatment, those with pernicious anemia, and those taking specific medications should consult with a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. In particular, for patients with pernicious anemia, this medication alone is not effective in improving neurological symptoms and should be used in conjunction with vitamin B12 preparations. Those taking medications such as aminosalicylic acid, oral contraceptives, methotrexate, or trimethoprim should be cautious as interactions may occur with this medication. For those taking anticonvulsants like phenytoin, this medication may lower blood levels of phenytoin, increasing the risk of seizure frequency. If allergic reactions such as erythema, skin rash, itching, or respiratory distress occur during the use of this medication, it must be stopped immediately, and consultation with an expert is necessary. Additionally, if symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, swelling, or weight loss appear, the medication should be discontinued and consultation with a doctor is advised. High-dose use may lead to central nervous system side effects such as gastrointestinal disturbances, changes in sleep, decreased concentration, hyperactivity, depression, and confusion, so caution is advised. When taking this medication, strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration; when administered to children, supervision and guidance from a guardian are required. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after one month of treatment, consult with a doctor or pharmacist immediately.
